November Investment Meeting Recap

This month, The Golden Triangle Angel Network returned to Bingemans for its November investment meeting. While meetings are always well-attended by our Angels, we were also privileged to see many guests of Angels in attendance this month! Our high-energy meeting saw pitches from three innovative companies, and all of them will be moving into due diligence. Read below for more information on each company!

Founded Technologies Inc.

Derek Hopfner, CEO of Founded, presented a digital legal platform for entrepreneurs and lawyers. They’re solving the problem of routine legal needs — at a fraction of the cost. Founded is a do-it-yourself option that’s intuitive and informed by legal knowledge.

Rapid Novor Inc.

Mingjien Xie, CEO of Rapid Novor, pitched a solution to the problems regarding testing for the Multiple Myeloma residual disease. This non-invasive medical technology can read out the sequence of a special protein generated by the patient, called M-protein, and use this protein as a unique marker for residual diseases in the patient throughout follow up tests.

Bethany Deshpande, CEO of SomaDetect, was last to pitch at November’s investment meeting. She presented an agricultural technology company that is developing an in-line system for frequent monitoring and reporting of dairy-quality indicators for farmers and other industry stakeholders. This technology will empower dairy farmers to produce the best possible milk.

Mark your calendars for our next investment meeting on Tuesday, December 19th at 5pm. GTAN hits the road again, and will be meeting at The Canadian Clay and Glass Gallery. Interested in becoming a GTAN Angel? We’re always looking for new members. Contact us to learn more!
