Recap: March 2017 Investment Meeting

On March 21st, GTAN held its monthly investment meeting at Bingemans, where local startups pitched to the GTAN membership. BridesMade solves the expensive problem that many bridesmaids have, namely the purchase of a formal dress chosen by the bride that will never be worn again. BrideMade adopts the sharing economy to create a profitable business by renting dresses that are designed to be fashionable, adjustable, and durable.

Sametrica has created a SaaS application to help government and coroporations understand the impact of their social investments. It helps them monitor and measure social innovation. The company is already close to achieving $1M in revenues.

For many enterprises, few managers and staff other than those in the C-suite, are provided with personal assistants to help with necessary but mundane tasks. provides Ava, an automated assistant for everyone in the company. The IAF, Extreme Venture Partners and Betaworks are investing in the current round. is extending the round to allow GTAN to top up the investment.
